3-4 Skillz & Scrimmages

The GRABA 3–4 Skillz & Scrimmages program is designed for boys and girls in grades 3 and 4 who want to build fundamentals, improve confidence, and grow their love for basketball. Players will be placed in groups with their peers as they develop skills in a fun, supportive environment.

The Grand Rapids Area Basketball Association will select trained coaches to lead each session. Coaches will run structured drills focused on ball-handling, shooting, footwork, passing, and game awareness. Each practice also includes coach-led scrimmages to help players learn how to apply their skills in real-game situations.

Practices will be held 1–2 times per week at one of the Grand Rapids or Cohasset elementary schools, depending on gym availability.

This program is a great step for young athletes looking to grow their game, build confidence, and prepare for future competitive play.
