Middle School "School Ball"
Hoops Club is a sub-committee of GRABA that provides support to the school program to help cover expenses the district doesn't cover.
For 26-27, new Middle School jerseys & shorts will be provided by GRABA. An option to purchase these sorts will be offered during registration. GRABA also covers practice balls and other equipment for use by all Middle School Players.
School Ball requires no tryouts and no cuts are made. In addition to the booster fee, the ISD318 activity fee must be paid to participate. If you would like to request a waiver for the booster fee portion, please email treasurer@grbasketball.org for information.
We ask that each family complete 2 hours of DIBS at the Middle School Tournaments. The profits from the concessions at these tournaments goes directly back to the program and helps provide everything needed to make the season a success.
Middle School "Travel Ball"
Travel tryouts for the Middle School Teams will be on 11/9 & 11/10. These teams will consist of 8-10 players. If you are interested in coaching the travel season, please contact our Travel Coordinator as soon as possible.
Travel tryouts are free to signup for and we encourage everyone to signup!

What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Answer: Boys & Girls in 7th or 8th grade are eligible.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
Answer: Season normally November thru March.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Answer: Practices will be held primarily at RJEMS. Games will be held at the host sites.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Answer: Teams practice 3-5 times per week after school.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Answer: School ball games will be scheduled by the school and are determined by the AD. Travel will consist of 3-4 tournaments starting in November.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Answer: Jerseys will be the same for the school ball season & travel season.
